Dale Hile grew up in Ashland, Oregon. After graduating from High School he joined the Air Force. He returned to Ashland and graduated from Southern Oregon University. He spent 30 years working with various Native American tribes in Oregon. His love of wood working began as a young boy working with his grandfather. After retiring to Eagle Point, Oregon with his wife, Janene, Dale rediscovered his love of carving and wood burning. He considers his creations soulful works of joy and love.
