Jessica Moreland, owner of Milly Bean’s Finds and Finishes, started refinishing and painting furniture as a hobby. The hobby accidentally turned into a second business when clients throughout New England started asking for custom designs.

A fascination with antiques, home decor, and all things old and dusty quickly blossomed into full-fledged love affair. At garage and estate sales, Jessica is known as the buyer of the ugliest ducklings. She loves taking forgotten, discarded, homely pieces and making them beautiful and functional again. It excites her when she can upcycle something unwanted into something coveted, giving it a new purpose and lease on life.

Aside from re-visioning furniture, Jessica also paints glassware, mugs, and dinnerware; restores vintage home decor; sews or builds unique gifts; and upcycles discarded building materials into trendy, one-of-a-kind designs. Her skills include painting, upholstery, woodworking, restoration, monogramming, sewing, and furniture design.
